In this intensive, you will learn:

• How to offer a genuine answer to everybody's favorite question: "How are you doing??" 
• Why your voice is inextricably linked to your body, and how to access that connection (we'll be looking at some anatomy & physiology, and also at the esoteric stuff too 😊)
• Recognizing your feelings in the form of sensations, thoughts, emotions, and desires
• A methodology that will give you direct access to what you want to express, so you can trust you're sharing honestly with others
• Dissolving heavy feelings about your voice including shame, grief, fear, anger, and apathy
• Communication practices to continue opening up your access to speaking your truth in everyday situations 
• How to apply this work to singing, writing, and other creative practices

This course is taught by Elissa Maas Weinzimmer, founder of Voice Body Connection.

During the three live online lab sessions, Elissa will spotlight coach a handful of participants on their learning and questions. 

If you cannot make classes live, everything will be recorded and available for you in the online course portal.

• Wednesday November 8th from 12-1:30pm Eastern time (class)
• Wednesday November 15th from 12-1:30pm Eastern time (class)
• Friday November 17th from 12-1:30pm Eastern time (lab)
• Wednesday November 22nd from 12-1:30pm Eastern time (class)
• Wednesday November 29th from 12-1:30pm Eastern time (class)
• Wednesday December 6th from 12-1:30pm Eastern time (class)
• Friday December 8th from 12-1:30pm Eastern time (lab)
• Wednesday December 13th from 12-1:30pm Eastern time (final class)
• Friday December 15th from 12-1:30pm Eastern time (final lab)

During the three live online lab sessions, there is open time for Q&A and Elissa will spotlight coach a handful of participants. 

If you cannot make classes live, everything will be recorded and available for you in the online course portal.

What if I can’t come to classes live?

All classes will be recorded! It's ideal to attend the online sessions live if and when you can. But we know that it works best for many students to participate in class asynchronously. The course is designed to give you just as much value whether you are live in class, or watching the recording later. All class sessions will be uploaded to the course portal within 24 hours of the session, and you can also submit questions in the course portal to be answered in class.

Can I still access the materials after the classes end?

Yes! We will never take the course materials away from you. Class recordings will remain available in your Voice Body Connection library, and you can always write to us if you forget your login.

Are there any discounts?

Yes. Full tuition for the intensive is $499 (pay in full) or four monthly payments of $132.

If you are an artist and need financial support to make this program accessible, we offer a 25% discount for creatives. If you live in a so-called developing country and would like to join the course, we offer economic scale discounts that bring tuition to 4 payments of $29/month. What is your refund policy?

Course fees are non-refundable.  However, we want our students to be happy, so if you are not fully satisfied with the class, you may submit a request for withdrawal in writing to [email protected] within one (1) month of the start date. You must have fully completed all homework assignments to that date, and share why the course is not meeting your needs.

What accessibility options do you offer for those who are hard of hearing or non-native English speakers?

We will have captions available live in class on Zoom, as well as on the course recording page. If you would like to translate the course to your native language, please write to us. We will send you a written transcript of the course recordings so you can use an online service to have them translated.
